DELTA DENTAL OF SOUTH CAROLINA DONATES $25,000 TO COASTAL COMMUNITY FOUNDATION DISASTER RELIEF FUND
COLUMBIA, SC (Sept 18, 2018) – Delta Dental of South Carolina today announced that the dental benefits provider has donated $25,000 to Coastal Community Foundation for disaster relief and recovery efforts in the wake of Hurricane Florence.
“Delta Dental of South Carolina has 269,456 members through our group, family and individual plans; a network that includes 77 percent of dentists in the state; and an office in Columbia with eight employees who are led by Spann Laffitte, vice president of sales and account management,” said Rob Goren, president and chief executive officer of Delta Dental of South Carolina. “These are not just numbers to us, they represent lives that have been directly and indirectly impacted by the devastation of the Hurricane and what is still to come by way of the additional flooding expected.”
Delta Dental of South Carolina’s monetary donation was given to Coastal Community Foundation Disaster Relief Fund to be used for any affected area along the South Carolina coast.
“We are thankful to be able to unite with other companies, organizations and individuals who are selflessly providing resources to help meet the needs of those impacted by this natural disaster,” added Robert E.
